Guardian pilot terms

These terms apply to guardian participation in the Pawsport pilot, operated by Ssmartec Business Solutions, Incorporated, 1251 Stuffles Cres, Newmarket, Ontario L3X 0E1, Canada. Contact support@pawsporthq.ca.

Your account and Passport

You must be at least 18 and live in Ontario to register for this pilot. Provide accurate information, protect your password and only upload information you have authority to use. Guardian registration does not grant provider or coordinator access. Providers join through a separate invitation.

You can create, save, update and download a dog’s Passport without requesting care. You keep rights in your content and allow us to store and process it to provide the features you use, as described in our Privacy policy. A Passport contains guardian-reported information; it is not a medical certificate or independent verification.

Free pilot and care inquiries

Guardian and provider participation in this initial pilot is free. Pawsport does not charge a commission during this pilot. Providers may charge for care; payment is arranged directly with them. Any future Pawsport charges will be explained before you are asked to agree to them.

Our boarding and daycare network is growing and coverage is limited. An inquiry to a participating provider goes to that provider. A request for a provider not yet on Pawsport goes to our coordinator for outreach, using the information you authorize. We cannot guarantee that a provider will join, reply, have space or be suitable for your dog.

Pawsport helps organize information and conversations; it does not provide boarding, daycare or veterinary care. Listing a provider does not certify or independently verify their premises, insurance, qualifications or services. Discuss your dog’s needs and the provider’s requirements before arranging care.

Bookings and provider requirements

An inquiry, an acceptance for care discussion or a decision to proceed does not by itself confirm a booking. Agree on dates, times, price, care requirements, cancellation terms and any provider contracts before confirming. A booking outcome recorded in Pawsport reflects the parties’ reported arrangements; it is not proof of payment or a guarantee by Pawsport.

Archiving, withdrawing an inquiry or deleting your account does not cancel a confirmed booking. Contact the provider about cancellation, refunds or changes. Use direct contact for urgent care matters; Pawsport is not an emergency service.

Responsible use and pilot limitations

Keep material details current. Do not impersonate others, misuse private information, harass participants, submit unlawful content or attempt unauthorized access. We may restrict access to address misuse or security problems and provide explanation when appropriate.

Features may change and interruptions can occur during the pilot. Keep copies of important care arrangements. You can request account closure through support; information handling follows the Privacy policy.

Ontario law and applicable Canadian federal law apply, subject to mandatory rights. These terms do not exclude rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded. We will communicate material changes before they apply where required.
